Prince Coult of the kingdom of Loon lives a happy life with his father, King Stephan, and a household of retainers. He is cheerful, kind and blessed by the god Aganade, whose daughter Galatea is his mother. When Coult was a baby, Medusa, daughter of the evil spirit, grew jealous of Galatea's happiness and turned her to stone along with many villagers. To spare the rest of his people, Stephan swore loyalty to Medusa and promised that Coult would do the same on his eighth birthday. On his eighth birthday, Coult refuses. Instead of submission, he declares war on Medusa and sets out to find her and restore everyone who was turned to stone. Adapted from Shinji Wada's manga, this fantasy adventure follows a young prince on a long quest, and the TV run leaves the story without an ending.
