Every four years, female warriors from across the world gather for Queen's Blade, a deadly fighting tournament. On this continent the strongest women hold power, a custom dating back to the first queen. The victor of an official bout held before an angel may command the loser however she likes: seize her weapons, make her a slave, or even overthrow the reigning Queen and take the throne. Elina, the daughter of a noble family from a remote region, sets out alone after her beloved sister Reina, who gave up everything to become a warrior. This two-episode OVA reboots the franchise, going back to where the story began while showing parts of its world never seen before, with a mix of action, adventure, fantasy and ecchi.
