Ohitoyoshi is bustling with excitement as the city gears up for its first-ever Maitetsu Festival, a celebration designed to unite Railords and their masters from across Hinomoto. The southern city has already been brought back to life, thanks in part to Hachiroku's efforts to promote tourism. Taking a cue from the humans organizing the festival, Suzushiro and other Railords arrange a gathering of their own, the Railord Summit, held at Amairo, a cafe inside the railroad station. There they pool their collective wisdom. Railords are girls who serve as humanoid control modules for their assigned railways, and in an era when newer transportation has left trains nearly obsolete, they hope to bring the railroads back to prominence. The result is a short-format slice of life series built around these lively railway girls.
