A man pulls a girl from the water before she can finish what she started. Neither of them knows how to live in the space where the person they loved used to be. The beach doesn't fix that, but for three episodes it becomes the only place where grief stops feeling like a secret.
A summer beach trip becomes an unexpected turning point for two people carrying the weight of grief. Yoshihiro Matsunaga, chaperoning a group of high school students, saves one of them, Nao Morisawa, when she tries to drown herself one night. A year before, she had made this same trip with her fiancee, who was later killed in a plane crash. As the two get to know each other, it becomes clear that Yoshihiro is hiding a painful secret of his own. Watching over them both is a mysterious young girl, called the Umi Warabe, who always seems to be present at decisive moments and may help them heal and move on. The three-episode OVA blends drama, romance and ecchi elements.
