Leon and Claire feel like themselves, not fan fiction versions rebuilt for anime. The four episodes move fast enough that you don't notice the plot is predictable until it's over. Beautiful character work and solid action carry you through a story you've seen before, which is enough if you're already invested in these two.
SYNOPSIS
A cyberattack breach sends federal agent Leon S. Kennedy into the White House for investigation, but the night turns catastrophic when a blackout plunges the building into chaos. Undead creatures swarm through the corridors, forcing Leon and armed personnel into a desperate fight for survival.
