The kidnapping is just cover for what this show actually is: a guy learning that the untouchable girl everyone worships is actually helpless, and choosing to stay anyway. Hinako's laziness isn't a character flaw to fix, it's the thing that makes her real to him when nothing else about her is. By the time she starts spoiling him back, you realize this isn't a romance about saving someone; it's about two people deciding they'd rather be messy together than perfect apart.

At an elite school full of wealthy students, Hinako Konohana is admired as the ideal young lady: poised, refined and seemingly without a single flaw. In private, though, she is a mess who cannot manage even simple household tasks. Ordinary student Itsuki Tomonari is made her caretaker and secretly works around the clock to keep her flawless reputation intact. Their arrangement is clumsy and constantly chaotic, but over time it begins to turn into something resembling love in this romantic comedy.
