SYNOPSIS
Three separate journeys unfold across snowy landscapes, each revealing how winter roads connect us to the people we love. A couple navigates their relationship through treacherous terrain, a mother invites her adult daughter to revisit an old tradition at a distant observatory, and coworkers discover unexpected bonds during a shared commute. When twenty-year-old Yui receives her mother's invitation to celebrate her birthday at an observatory she hasn't visited in years, the trip becomes more than a simple drive. The snow-covered roads trigger fragmented memories of her father, who used to take her to the same place when she was young. As she travels alone through the winter night, Yui grapples with loss and the desire to honor those cherished moments. Woven throughout are glimpses of other travelers making their own winter journeys, each person carrying their own reasons for being on the road. These three stories intersect thematically, suggesting that cold seasons and difficult paths often lead toward warmth, remembrance, and human connection.
