Haru and Natsu are androids who were left behind by their former owner and now live with a new one, a scientist named Masa. Haru longs to feel emotions, to learn how to behave like a human, and above all to understand love. Natsu cannot get past the earlier abandonment and fears it will happen again. While Haru tries to stay hopeful, Natsu sinks further into dark thoughts on his own. Masa, meanwhile, regards the two androids as his own children.
