The third season of the Rurouni Kenshin re-adaptation picks up after the second season, Kyoto Disturbance. The franchise centers on a legendary swordsman of the late Edo period, once feared as a manslayer, whose blade helped bring the Bakumatsu era to a close and usher in the Meiji age before he disappeared and passed into legend. The TV series mixes action, adventure, drama and romance.
