The second season of Sabikui Bisco is an action fantasy adventure adapted from the light novels written by Cobkubo Shinji, with illustrations by Akagishi K and Mocha. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan reduced to a dusty wasteland. The first season centered on Bisco Akaboshi, an outlaw with a price on his head and a talent with the bow, who searched for a fabled mushroom said to eat away rust, traveling with a giant crab and a young doctor. The new season was revealed at the Dengeki Bunko 30th Summer Festival Online 2023 event.
