SYNOPSIS
Ami's got a problem. The honor student who's never met her match academically just got one: a mysterious student called Mercurius is dominating the national exams and stealing her top ranking. Before she can process the blow to her pride, a love letter arrives on her desk, and suddenly the stress is eating her alive,literally. A youma senses her anxiety and feeds on it, growing stronger with every anxious thought Ami has about grades, competition, and romance all at once. Caught between maintaining her reputation as the Sailor Senshi's genius and dealing with very normal teenage insecurity, Ami has to figure out what's real and what's a distraction. Is Mercurius actually a rival worth worrying about, or is there something else going on? Her friends are there to help, but this one feels personal. When transformation time comes, Sailor Mercury needs to fight on two fronts: the monster threatening the city and the voice in her head telling her she's not good enough.
