Saint Seiya always won, always got back up, always had his friends. This movie takes all of that away and makes him choose between staying broken or watching everything he fought for turn into a weapon against him. The Bronze Saints don't win their way out of this one, they just survive it, and that's what makes it matter.
Seiya's body lies broken after the war with Hades ends. Confined to a wheelchair with no medical hope, the Bronze Saint has no chance of recovery. Artemis, goddess of the moon, twin sister of Apollo and sister to Athena, arrives with an offer: she will heal Seiya completely, but the price is Sanctuary itself. Athena agrees, and Artemis and her Knights of the Sky quickly take control of the holy ground. Now Seiya and his fellow Bronze Saints battle the forces of Zeus to win back their home, and the fight will not be easy. Some familiar faces have joined the other side: Bronze Saints Hydra Ichi and Unicorn Jabu, along with Silver Saint Ophiuchus Shaina, now stand with Artemis and Apollo. What began as a rescue becomes a struggle to reclaim their homeland from the gods themselves.
