These specials exist to watch Yuuichiro get humiliated in every possible way while the rest of the cast laughs at him. The comedy lands because it's built on character dynamics you already know, then twists them sideways just enough to feel fresh. If you need a break from the main series without leaving that world, this is exactly the palate cleanser it promises to be.

Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign gets a set of nine special episodes from 2015, packaged with the home video release of the series on Blu-ray and DVD. The specials mix comedy with action, science fiction and supernatural elements, in line with the genres listed for this release. They come as bonus material for buyers of the discs.
