Ryoutsu is a policeman who earns far too little, so he is forever cooking up shady plans to make fast money. Those plans are absurd from the start, and every one of them falls apart, leaving him in serious hot water with the chief. Made to mark fifty years since Osamu Akimoto's manga first appeared, this fresh adaptation of Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Kouenmae Hashutsujo is a slice-of-life comedy built around those doomed get-rich-quick attempts.
