Kanu swings a massive blade and cracks jokes while the world burns around her, completely unbothered by how little sense any of it makes. The show knows it's absurd and never wastes energy pretending otherwise. You're not here for the Three Kingdoms lore or the ecchi fan service, you're here because a girl in a ridiculous outfit is having more fun than any character has any right to, and that infectious energy is contagious.

As the Han Dynasty nears its end, the land has fallen into turmoil. Kanu Unchou, a warrior who fights for justice, puts her life on the line to protect people in need. After driving bandits out of Touka Village, Kanu, Chouhi and Shokatsuryou Koumei rescue a mysterious girl who turns out to be the real Ryuubi. Someone has stolen her name and her family's heirloom sword, and she has been blamed for crimes she did not commit. The group sets out to recover the blade, which keeps passing from one owner to the next, and meets familiar faces who lend a hand along the way. Meanwhile, three street performers known as the Chou Sisters receive a strange magic book that may bring them serious trouble. Adapted from a BaseSon eroge, the show mixes comedy, ecchi and fantasy.
