SYNOPSIS
Four distinct worlds collide in this anthology collection, each crafted by legendary director Katsuhiro Otomo. A shrine keeper discovers his home has become a refuge for spirits trapped within everyday objects, forcing him to confront the weight of their memories. A historical reimagining captures the catastrophic fire that consumed feudal Edo, transforming a moment of destruction into something far more intimate. A young girl ventures into a frozen wilderness to bargain with an unlikely protector, hoping to save her village from a curse that feeds on its daughters. Finally, soldiers descend into an abandoned metropolis where the real threat isn't what they can see, but what refuses to stop watching them. Each segment strips away the familiar to expose something rawer underneath: loss, obsession, sacrifice, and the strange grace that emerges when people face forces beyond their control. The collection moves between folklore and dystopia, intimate character moments and cosmic scale consequences.
