Danemon, a young samurai hero, takes on a job to rid a haunted castle of whatever lurks inside. Instead of fearsome foes, he finds the place occupied by lovely women, who are really a band of tanuki trying to lure him away from his task. Along the way he battles monsters and beasts. This 1935 supernatural short survives in an extended talkie version with its original audio, alongside a narrated cut built from fragments.
