A skeleton avatar in a fantasy world sounds ridiculous until you realize that's the entire point, the show commits completely to the visual joke while treating the isekai formula with enough earnest competence to actually work. Arc's overpowered gear doesn't solve everything because his skeleton face closes every door before his strength opens it. You get the power fantasy you came for, but filtered through a protagonist who has to negotiate his way into the story instead of commanding it.

A gamer falls asleep while playing and wakes up inside the game's world as his own avatar, Arc. The catch: that avatar is a skeleton, equipped with powerful weapons and armor but saddled with a frightening skeletal look that forces him to hide his face to avoid unwanted attention. Arc heads to the castle town of Luvierte hoping to become an adventurer and earn money through quests. His hopes for a quiet life fall apart when he crosses paths with a beautiful elven warrior, setting him on a journey of conflict and adventure. With overpowered abilities, he travels through varied territories, loots monsters and helps people out of tight spots, while his actions risk drawing him into a large-scale conflict that could change the fate of the realm. The series mixes action, fantasy adventure and comedy.
