The romantic geometry here is deceptively simple until it isn't, Minatsu exists in three different versions of herself across three different hearts, and nobody knows which version is real. Adachi's gift is making you believe in all of them at once. A comedy about mistaken identity that earns its stakes by treating each person's version of love as completely legitimate, never punishing anyone for feeling what they feel.

Minatsu Nakazato is a young student who plays softball, and she sits at the center of a romantic triangle with her schoolmate Shu Akiba and Naoto Kadomatsu, a promising boxer on the rise. The triangle is really closer to three and a half sides: Naoto has fallen for a girl called Maria, who is actually Minatsu herself, disguised at one point to get away from some bad people. Adapted from Mitsuru Adachi's manga, this five-episode OVA mixes romantic comedy with slice-of-life moments and sports.
