In the year 038 of the New Cosmic Century, a mysterious alien civilization called the Orbital Ring System strikes humanity without warning. Earth's Civilization Sphere is soon cut off from the space colonies and falls under ORS control. Hayabusa Jetter and his crew of misfit space pirates and smugglers are the only ones able to slip past the ORS lines. Working with an underground resistance, they risk their lives ferrying essential supplies to and from Earth. Then a mysterious gentleman hires them to carry an unmarked spherical container, and Hayabusa takes the job without knowing that the cargo may decide humanity's future. This one-episode sci-fi OVA is adapted from the live-action film Space Travelers.
