Kujaku's power is eating him alive from the inside, and every fight is him losing ground to something he can't control. The OVA spends three episodes building toward a confrontation that stops mattering the moment he understands what he actually is. Watching a character race against his own nature, knowing the destination ruins everything he's been trained to want, that's the real horror here, not the minions.

Kujaku is a young mystic with no known past, born under a dark omen with overwhelming supernatural abilities. Raised by priests, he has learned to turn those powers toward good. But his enemy will not leave him alone. Siegfried von Mittgard wants to seize Kujaku's birthright and rule the world as the Regent of Darkness. To get it, he sends bloodthirsty minions to kill the young mystic before he awakens to his destiny. Kujaku now has to uncover the truth about where he came from before the power inside him consumes him. The three-episode OVA mixes action, horror and the supernatural.
