A plane full of people dies in the first five minutes, and the show doesn't flinch. Akito walks out of that wreckage remade, and his old friend Kojiro has to watch the lonely kid he knew become something that wears a human shape like a costume. Tokyo Revelation spends two episodes asking if damnation looks better in a school uniform than it did in isolation.
A demonic computer program is triggered aboard a packed flight bound for Tokyo, unleashing unseen demons that bring the plane down in flames. Only one person survives: Akito Kobayashi, the program's creator and a devoted servant of hell. When Akito returns to school, his old elementary school friend Kojiro Soma finds that the once lonely boy has turned into a smooth, arrogant teenager. Soon classmates are attacked and legendary demons roam Tokyo, and Kojiro starts to grasp what Akito has become. Akito's scheme hinges on magnetite, the element at the core of every human soul. With a powerful enough supply of it, his software could loose a horde of devils on the world, and that supply lies within Kojiro's own class. Kojiro and fellow student Saki Yagami are reincarnations of mighty, benevolent spirits, and with their friends targeted by demons hungry for life energy, they must draw on their powers to destroy Akito's program. This two-episode OVA mixes action, science fiction and the supernatural.
