Lu Chaoge carries the weight of a massacre. On a snowy day, demonic cultivators storm the Mo Sect and wipe it out, taking his closest family with it. A mysterious system grants him power when death seems inevitable, and he awakens to water-elemental abilities that let him escape. He swears to rid the world of demons, but ten years of secluded training leave him stuck at the Initial Realm. Then the system activates again, offering a second chance. Lu Chaoge leaves his mountain with his younger sister Lu Dongli, hoping to find spiritual herbs that can break his cultivation barrier. On the road he outwits a strange beast's challenge, calls down nine Celestial Decrees to awaken his spiritual power, climbs five realms one after another, and even meets a challenge from a Sword Sect prodigy. For a sect master once written off as useless, it marks the start of a comeback in this action fantasy adventure.
