Kurumi stops trying to be cute and asks what it actually costs to love someone you can't reach. Three episodes in an apartment become everything because the show trusts you to care about a steel angel learning what longing feels like. It breaks every promise the franchise made about what Steel Angel Kurumi is supposed to be, and that bet on sincerity pays off completely.

Sometime in the distant future, Kurumi, Saki and Karinka live together in an apartment along with a fourth girl, Excelia. After school one day, Kurumi announces to the others that she has fallen in love with a man she met, Michihito Kagura, though she has no idea when their paths will cross again. The three-episode OVA blends sci-fi, romance and drama.
