These two episodes exist for one reason: to sit with these characters when nothing is happening. A girl gets bonked to heaven and causes chaos in the afterlife. The girls paint in a park and wonder what comes next. The show understands that the best moments between friends aren't the dramatic ones, they're the quiet ones where you're just there together, watching time pass and making stupid jokes. By the end, you're not watching a story unfold. You're saying goodbye to people you actually care about, and the show lets that feeling breathe without forcing it into sentiment.

Miu suddenly decides she wants to be an idol, and her attempt to prove it with a back-flip ends with her knocking her head and landing in heaven, halo and all, where she causes a ruckus. Later, a school excursion takes the girls to the local castle park to paint, but Mui has forgotten her paints, so Nobue has to bring them over from home on her scooter. Much painting mischief follows, and the girls stop to think about what it means to be friends or buddies. Finally, Mui imagines how life will change for her and her friends once they start junior high. This two-episode OVA picks up from the previous set of Strawberry Marshmallow OVAs, pairing slice-of-life moments with absurd comedy.
