You're here because you already know what Strike the Blood does, and this one finally lets the harem actually matter to the story instead of just standing around. The repetitive cycle of "island in danger, Kojou gets destroyed, drinks blood, wins anyway" wears thin, but the third season at least commits to making his relationships the thing that saves him, not just his power level. If you've made it this far into the franchise, you know exactly what you're getting: more of the same formula, except the people around him have stopped being decoration.

Third season of the Strike the Blood OVA adaptation, based on the light novel series by Mikumo Gakuto with illustrations by Manyako. Its ten episodes adapt volumes 13 through 15 and run to the end of the Seisen arc. Strange events out at sea leave Itogami Island cut off from the outside world. Nagisa is still suffering from her earlier exertions, and a terrorist group called Tartarus Lapse starts operating on the island. Expect supernatural action and fantasy with ecchi elements.
