Koguma doesn't go anywhere because she has nowhere to go, and that's the whole point. The Super Cub isn't about adventure, it's about discovering that the smallest detours in a small life can become everything. This show understands loneliness not as tragedy but as the quiet before you realize you're not alone anymore, and it lets that realization happen at exactly the speed your heart needs it to.

Koguma moves through school and life as a quiet ghost, unremarkable and alone. She has nothing worth mentioning, nobody worth knowing. Then she gets a Honda Super Cub, a humble little motorcycle, and suddenly the world opens up. Those rides to school become the only moments that feel real, the only time she feels alive. When Reiko, another girl from her class, tells Koguma that she rides to school on a motorcycle too, Koguma's solitary routine transforms. A girl who had no one discovers she doesn't have to stay that way. What begins as a shared hobby becomes something deeper: genuine connection, genuine friendship, genuine joy in simple moments. Super Cub isn't about thrills or dramatic turns. It's about finding yourself in motion, in the wind, in the company of someone who understands. It's about how small adventures accumulate into a life worth living. The motorcycle is just the vehicle. The real journey is learning that loneliness doesn't have to be permanent.
