Nobody remembers this one, and that's exactly why it matters. A single OVA about an office lady obsessed with golf sounds disposable, but that's the point, it's comedy built on the smallest, most genuine human thing: someone who found their thing and won't shut up about it. The show doesn't need spectacle or plot momentum. It just needs her, a golf course, and the permission to be quietly, stupidly in love with a sport. That's enough.

An office lady has one overriding passion: golf. This 1991 comedy OVA presents her amusing adventures as a woman who is crazy about the game. The single episode adapts a manga by Yutsuko Chuusonji that appeared in Weekly Spa! magazine. Blending comedy with sports, it suits viewers who enjoy humor built around one character's all-consuming hobby.
