A film that knows exactly what it is: four girls taking photographs of their lives, and somehow that's enough to make you cry. The pacing lets you breathe between moments instead of rushing toward plot points that don't exist. By the time it ends, you realize you weren't waiting for anything to happen, you were just grateful to be there with them.

Hibiki is the second film in the four-part finale of Tamayura, a comedy and slice-of-life franchise. The first part of the finale set the stage: Fuu, Kaoru, Norie and Maon have become third-year high school students, their senior Kanae has graduated, and two younger students have joined their photography club. With graduation roughly a year away, the four friends begin weighing their own dreams and the paths they might take after school.
