SYNOPSIS
Shoutarou Kaneda inherits more than his father's legacy when he stumbles upon a colossal black robot buried beneath the Japanese countryside. The boy becomes the accidental pilot of Tetsujin 28, a machine of devastating power built during wartime by his late father and the brilliant Professor Shikishima. As Shoutarou learns to control this iron giant, he discovers that Shikishima Industries conceals a dark past rooted in military experimentation and betrayal. Each mission piloting Tetsujin pulls Shoutarou deeper into questions about his father's death, Shikishima's true intentions, and what price was paid for the robot's creation. The line between protector and weapon blurs as enemies emerge from Japan's shadow, all hunting for control of the mechanical monster. Shoutarou must decide whether to trust the man who knew his father or uncover the war's buried secrets before they consume everyone around him.
