It slows your heart rate down. Four shorts, no villain, no gym badge, no stakes: just a Pokemon that eats and sleeps, and a Pokemon that is by itself. Project Kabigon understands that Snorlax is funny precisely because nothing about him is urgent, and it pairs that mass of contentment with Cubone, the loneliest design in the entire Pokedex, skull helmet and all. The show never explains why they end up in each other's orbit, and that restraint is the whole trick. If you grew up reading Cubone's dex entry and feeling weird about it, watching that little bone-carrier sit next to something warm and enormous does something to you. Put it on when the day has been too loud.

Snorlax spends its days doing little besides eating and sleeping, while Cubone has no one at all. When these two Pokémon meet, a friendship starts to grow between them, and it deepens across four seasons. The series is a set of four short fantasy episodes released online as part of Project Kabigon.
