SYNOPSIS
The Daichi family is falling apart. Mom Seiko wants out of her marriage, tired of supporting a passive geek like Dad Mamoru. Daughter Nozomi shoulders all the household burden while everyone takes her for granted. Even youngest Dai, the most aggressive of the bunch, watches helplessly as his family crumbles from the inside. Then the Galaxy Federation knocks on their door with an unexpected proposition: the Daichis are needed to defend Earth from alien invasions. Suddenly this dysfunctional crew gets recruited as humanity's last line of defense, forced to work together whether they like it or not. What starts as a disaster waiting to happen becomes something stranger. Saving the world means confronting the mess they've made of their relationships. Between fighting off cosmic threats and dealing with each other, the Daichis discover that survival might actually require learning how to be a family again. It's comedy, action, and genuine heart wrapped up in an absurd premise where personal growth and planetary protection go hand in hand.
