A college kid working a convenience store surrounded by gangsters meets the one person who actually has his back, and suddenly every shift becomes an excuse to see him again. The show knows the difference between gratitude and attraction, then spends two episodes collapsing that distance. Eui-joon can't afford to leave the job. Gun-woo can't seem to leave the store.

Eui-joon, a college student, works the graveyard shift at a convenience store where danger comes with the job. Gangsters frequent the shop regularly, and his nerves are constantly frayed by their presence, but the good hourly pay keeps him rooted behind the counter. Everything changes when Gun-woo, a tall regular customer with ties to the violent underworld, steps in when Eui-joon runs into trouble during a shift and gets him out of it. Grateful for Gun-woo's help, Eui-joon finds himself drawn to a man who seems to stand for the kind of justice he has always admired. What starts as simple appreciation becomes something more when Eui-joon notices Gun-woo purchasing an unexpected item one night. From then on, Eui-joon can't stop thinking about the man who helped him. Across two pilot episodes, the story blends comedy with romance.
