Framed as a traitor and betrayed by her fiancé, Crown Prince Gerald, Jill breaks out of prison on the eve of her execution. Struck by an arrow as she flees, she wakes six years in the past as a 10-year-old girl, at the party where her engagement to Gerald was decided. To escape that fate, she proposes to the first man she sees: Hadis Teos Rave, the 19-year-old dragon emperor who was her enemy in the future. To her surprise, he accepts. This Hadis is kind rather than the tyrant she remembers, and Jill must try to keep him from the madness she knows lies ahead in this fantasy romance.
