This is the rare anime that ends by telling you which train to catch. Four episodes, seven minutes each, five of those minutes a story and the last two a straight-faced explainer on getting from Tokyo out to Saitama, and somehow that structure is the whole charm. "Sakura no Omoide" plays the spring episode as a small love story, then "Saitama Koukou Housou-bu ~Natsu no Kankou Annai" swings into broadcast-club gag comedy for summer, and the tonal whiplash between them is the point. The prefecture is the real lead here, with the characters serving as friendly tour guides through spring, summer, fall and winter. It is tourism board copy that accidentally became a comfort watch. Twenty-eight minutes total, and you will finish it half-wanting to actually take the trip.

Saitama Prefecture commissioned this short slice-of-life ONA to show off its tourist spots. Each of the four roughly seven-minute episodes pairs a five-minute story, set in spring, summer, fall or winter, with a two-minute segment explaining how to get to the featured places from Tokyo by train. The stories range across genres: a romance called Sakura no Omoide, a gag comedy about a Saitama high school broadcasting club, a fantasy tale of a hero and a princess, and a family piece titled Winter Sweet Home. The voice cast includes eight locals who live or work in Saitama, picked from 223 applicants.
