A man on death row has to explain why he killed the one person he loved, and the answer isn't what you think it is. The show builds this mystery backwards through his memories, each one peeling away another layer of what "immortal" actually costs you when everyone around you stays mortal. By the end, you're not asking whether he did it anymore, you're asking whether surviving everything is worth the same thing as living.

Satake Hirofumi is on death row for murdering his fiancée. He is also an Undeadman, a person who has come through many desperate situations alive. That record draws the attention of the Human Crazy University, a research institution that studies real miraculous phenomena and the people caught up in them. As their research subject, Satake tells them about his life, one he cannot seem to lose but that has brought him little happiness. The central question is why he killed the woman he meant to marry, and the answer points toward a much larger conspiracy. The show mixes comedy and mystery with a psychological thriller edge.
