Manxmouse starts out as a ceramic figure of a blue mouse with long ears, short legs and no tail, and one day he suddenly comes alive. He is the Manxmouse of legend, and his long ears make him look more like a rabbit than a mouse. Everything in the world is new to him, and his bold curiosity brings him into contact with a pair of frogs, a hawk who flies as an aviator, a stray tiger and a girl. He then finds out that fate has marked him to be eaten by a Manxcat, but he resolves to confront the cat and defy that destiny. The 1979 animated film is an adventure story.
