Anos doesn't pretend to be anything he isn't, and the show doesn't either, it's pure power fantasy dressed up in school chaos, and it knows exactly what it is. The second half finds its rhythm and stops apologizing for the spectacle: animation that moves like it's being drawn by people who actually care, combat sequences that understand space and weight, side characters like Shin getting actual arcs instead of just existing. If you're burnt out on isekai that makes excuses for its own premise, this one swings harder.

With peace restored to the demon realm, Anos Voldigoad wants to leave behind his fame as the Demon King of Tyranny and return to life as a misfit at the elite Demon King Academy. That calm does not last. Demons, kings and gods scheme against him in secret, and talk spreads of a 'Child of God' whose strength might match his own. To learn the truth and remove the danger, Anos sets out for the land of spirits, a mysterious place that can only be reached by passing a series of hard trials. Along the way, he and his trusted allies face powerful foes bearing lofty titles. Anos meets every opponent with total confidence and overwhelming power. This second season of the fantasy action series keeps its unbeatable hero at the center.
