Anos walks into every situation already knowing he's won, and the show knows that's funny. The animation holds together when it shouldn't, and the core mystery of what he actually is keeps pulling you forward even when the plot gets tangled. This is comfort food for power-scaling fans, but the adaptation's murky storytelling means you'll spend half your time rewinding to understand what actually happened.

Lessons resume at the Demon King Academy in this second cour of the second season of The Misfit of Demon King Academy. Anos Voldigoad is back in class and up against enemies more powerful than any he has faced so far.
