SYNOPSIS
Post-war Tokyo, 1948. Kanna Kusakabe's second year at high school takes an unexpected turn when she encounters Akihiko Chuzenji, a peculiar new language teacher who seems far too knowledgeable about the supernatural occurrences plaguing her life. Strange phenomena keep finding their way to Kanna: unsettling incidents that defy rational explanation, each one pulling her deeper into a world most people refuse to acknowledge. She discovers that Chuzenji, gruff and deliberately distant, possesses an uncanny ability to unravel these mysteries with unsettling ease. What should be terrifying instead becomes routine as the unlikely pair,a reluctant teacher and an increasingly desperate student,develop an unspoken partnership. Every mystery Chuzenji solves only raises new questions about who he really is and why he seems to know so much about things that shouldn't exist.
