Waking up in a game you didn't consent to join hits different when your only survival tool is the skill you've spent years broadcasting to strangers. A group of streamers forced to cooperate despite their competing personas and jealousies discovers that being good at games doesn't prepare you for actual stakes. The mystery deepens every time they think they've figured out the alpaca's rules, and by halfway through you realize the real trap isn't the game itself.

Iride Akatsuki is a popular uploader of game footage who unlocks hidden content in a game called Naka no Hito Genome. That content turns out to be a real game. He wakes up kidnapped in a strange place alongside seven other charismatic streamers, each an expert in a particular kind of game, from cultivation titles to fighting and puzzle games. Once the first level is cleared, a mysterious host with an alpaca's head gathers the group to lay out how the game will continue. The stakes are life or death, yet completing enough tasks could earn them 100 million lives. The question is whether these gamers can beat the game and return to their real lives. Adapted from a manga by Osora, the 12-episode TV series blends adventure, comedy, drama, mystery and science fiction.
