You watch five sisters and one tutor dance around the same question for twelve episodes, and somehow it never gets tired because the show actually likes all five of them equally. The romance doesn't move forward in any traditional sense, but the comedy and the genuine warmth between the characters pulls you through every episode anyway. By the end, you're not watching to find out which sister wins, you're watching because you actually care what happens to all of them.

Fuutarou's tutoring job with the Nakano quintuplets is starting to pay off. The five sisters are showing real academic progress, though graduation is far from certain. They keep stirring up one situation after another, and those detours push actual lessons further down the list. What began as a simple tutoring arrangement has become complicated. Fuutarou finds himself pulled deeper into the girls' personal lives, which only tangles their relationships with one another. He also begins to sense a possible link between himself and a past he believes he shared with one of the five. As everyone's feelings grow and overlap, the open question is whether they can keep things to teacher and students, or whether something else will take shape.
