This is a prologue that understands what you came for: Elsie being Elsie before the chaos of the main series, all deadpan delivery and demon-hunting incompetence. It costs almost nothing to watch and gives you exactly what existing fans need to know. A character introduction that doesn't pretend to be more than it is.

Elsie receives her orders from Docrow Skull, who heads hell's branch for counter measures: travel to Earth and round up the evil spirits that have slipped out of hell. This short prologue OVA was released bundled with the tenth volume of the manga. It sets up the premise with a comedic, supernatural tone, showing how Elsie's mission among humans begins.
