Six minutes, no real conversation, and it still tells you exactly what kind of show you're about to get. This is the pilot that shipped on the first disc, and it plays like a sponsor reel with hero landings: every pose is blocked so the logos plastered on the suits catch the light, which is either the funniest joke in the franchise or the reason you bail at minute two. The English-speaking announcer hyping the action is pure novelty, absurd on purpose, and it works. Blue Rose shows up and the character design does the heavy lifting, that hair alone earns its screen time. Do not come here for character work or theme, there isn't room for either. Come here because you already love Sternbild and you want to see the first draft of it, warts and logos and all.

Sternbild City runs on superhero power. These gifted individuals, known as NEXT, compete in a televised competition where their heroic acts earn them points and sponsorship deals. It's a system that turns saving lives into entertainment, complete with commercial breaks and corporate branding on their suits. Wild Tiger is a veteran hero whose aging body and old-school methods make him increasingly irrelevant in this glossy, monetized landscape. His ratings plummet. His sponsors abandon him. Just when his career seems finished, he's forced into an unlikely partnership with Barnaby Brooks Jr., a young, perfectly styled hero who represents everything Tiger despises about modern heroism: calculated, corporate-approved, and devoid of genuine passion. The pilot sets the stage for their collision. Tiger operates on instinct and principle. Barnaby plays by the rulebook. When a dangerous situation forces them to work together, their conflicting approaches create chaos, humor, and the first spark of something neither expected: actual chemistry. What begins as mutual irritation hints at a partnership that might just change both their careers forever.
