The Dorombo Gang bumbles through a villain hierarchy with a kitchen robot that shouldn't work but does, competing against genuinely worse criminals in a tournament where losing means getting shown up by actual heroes. The premise is stupid in exactly the way late-80s anime understood: lean into it hard enough that the absurdity becomes the entire point. The two-episode OVA mixes comedy, action and mecha antics as villain battles villain in a race for infamy. Expect giant machines, silly schemes and a steady stream of gags.
