Tonpei is a lazy, arrogant pig who steals food from Sarukichi and the other monkeys and roughs some of them up. The monkeys strike back and beat him, so Tonpei goes to the lion king and gives him a false account of what happened. The lion sets out to put the monkeys in their place, and the quarrel grows into open war fought with tanks, guns and airplanes.
