Will's unconventional path through the magical academy continues in this third season. Unable to use magic, he fights with a sword instead of a wand, still aiming to join the Magia Vander, the top tier of mages, and keep the promise he made to his childhood friend Elfaria. The action fantasy picks up after the second season, in which Will and the other top students of his year survived an ambush by a mysterious mage during dungeon training and then went on to face the exit exam.
