A group of friends secretly takes up burglary as a game, keeping the whole thing hidden from their schoolmates. Rather than one person holding the role, the members take turns posing as Tonchinkan, a master thief, so the famous identity passes from one of them to another. The TV comedy runs 43 episodes and adapts a gag manga of the same name by Endo Koichi.
