Tsuri Baka Eika-san! Sky Girls Dynamite Fishing is a 2007 set of nine comedy specials with mecha and sci-fi trappings, built around Eika, whom the title calls a fishing fanatic. Every episode takes on a different catch: a trout contest, mudskippers, blackfish along the rocky coast, piranhas, a bass tournament framed around protecting native species, black porgy lured with prawns, red sea bream, smelt pulled up through the ice, and finally a grand clash with a whale out on the open ocean.
