Spring arrives at Tracen Academy, and so does a new class of students at the entrance ceremony. Kitasan Black steps through the gates without yet knowing what her dream is, and she sets out to chase her aspirations from a fresh start. Satono Diamond carries a different burden: she wants to win a GI race to fulfill a wish her family has long held. Neither can know how their races will turn out, but both begin full of hope. This one-episode sports and slice-of-life special was made to mark the first anniversary of the Uma Musume: Pretty Derby mobile game, and it premiered during an anniversary livestream on the Pakatube! Channel.
